01. Are you a licensed general contractor?
No. CHIQ Permitting is a permit expediting and administrative service — we prepare, submit and track permit applications. The permit is issued under the license of your contractor of record, or to the property owner as owner-builder. We do not perform or supervise construction work.
02. Who actually pulls the permit?
Your licensed contractor, or you as the owner-builder where allowed. We handle the paperwork, submission and follow-up on your behalf.
03. How long does permitting take in South Florida?
It varies by county, jurisdiction, scope and current review volume — from a couple of weeks for simple scopes to several months for complex or structural work. We give you a realistic estimate once we see your plans.
04. Do you work with contractors who already have a process in place?
Yes. Many clients bring us in for overflow, for jurisdictions they don't run often, or simply to free up their own time. We plug into whatever process you already use.
05. How do you charge?
